What is the maximum file size I can transfer from one device to another?
There are currently no specific limitations. However, transferring very large files may encounter issues due to potential network connection instability.
I have two devices with a similar name. How can i differ them from each other?
Connected devices directly can be renamed by clicking the three dots in the devices overview and then “rename device”.
I am using a public network. How can i prevent unwanted devices to see me?
Devices in the “New devices” section, which you don’t know, can be blocked via accessing the device’s options. Click on the three dots right to the device name, and choose “Block device”. The unwanted device will not be able to see you any longer.
Can i use mobile internet on my smartphone?
No. SendMe depends on local network connections to determine the devices involved. While WLAN or LAN connections are part of this, mobile internet is not.
Can i use LAN-cables?
Yes! LAN connections are even preferred by SendMe, as they have a higher data transmission rate. If detected, SendMe will switch your WLAN to cable connection.
